World Day of Prayer 2013 will be Friday March 1!
(But you can celebrate it on other days too!)
World Day of Prayer takes place internationally on the first Friday of March every year. In 2013 that will be March 1. If you can’t celebrate World Day of Prayer on the first Friday in March, choose another date that works for your community and you can celebrate in symbolic solidarity with women around the world!
The host country for 2013 is France, writing on the topic “I Was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me,” with a focus on migration issues.

This year we are introducing two new ways to order your materials in our “Store:”
- Click on Store to fill out an online order and pay via Paypal. Your order will be submitted to Kutztown, our fulfillment house, and then shipped to you.
- Click on Store to purchase some materials available for instant download. Just click on “Downloadable Items” when you get to our store. Pay via Paypal and download the materials you purchased. Materials available for download this year include: Leader’s/Planner’s Guide, Worship Service, Bible Study/Action Guide, Children’s Service, Bulletin Insert, and Spanish Language materials: Servicio de Adoración, y Servicio de Adoración para niños.

Media Mail
This year we are making a change in our shipping method. We will now be shipping via USPS Media Mail. Using Media Maill will help to defray the costs of shipping without having to raise rates, ensuring that more of your offering dollars can go to grants! Please remember to order earlier as Media mail takes a bit longer—up to 8 days according to the USPS website.

Mailing your offering by April 15 will allow us to award 2013 grants in a more timely fashion. Tax receipts will be sent for donations above $250, pursuant current tax law. Your cancelled check can serve as your receipt for donations below that amount. Feel free to send several checks from different individuals, ensuring that each has a record of her own gift. Offerings are received by a secure lockbox company, so please be sure to send only checks to this address. Any other information, notes, pictures or evaluations must be sent to our office in order to be received.

Send any other information (address, phone number, church affiliation) that you would like us to update in our database.
